Well, it has been a long time coming. The manga began on April 22nd 2009, and here, 5 1/2 years later we finally have the anime confirmed by the sleeve on the 23rd volume of Kyoukai no Rinne, and also by AnimeNewsNetwork. It will likely premier around the same time that KnR is celebrating 6 years!

Halfway into Season two!
I just watched the most recent episode and I really loved it. Again I am loving the way the second season is going, what are your thoughts on it?
Also do you think we will see Matsugo this season? I remember the field trip arc directly after his introduction being particularly strong, so I am predicting they may end the season with it? What do you think? We know we will be seeing Renge very soon, so while her introduction is also very strong, it will not be finishing out this season.

Second season
How are you guys liking the second season so far? The opening/ending? Animation? Pacing? Keeping with the manga source?
Rinne's mother?
Supposedly, chapter 313 and 314 introduce us to Rinne's mother, Otome Rokudou. Her sudden appearance is shocking to me, because in the last chapter, after everyone had been saying that she was dead, she makes a sudden appearance, looking quite alive. I have many questions. The most important of which being what does this mean for the series? It seems to me by answering the question of just who Rinne's mother is, which we have been asking since very early in the series, does this mean Takahashi is starting to tie up the series? Is it coming to an end?

I can't wait for this anime series to come out. It's a shame that the same animation company that did InuYasha won't be able to do it but either way this looks to be a promising series and hopefully it will pick up after the 25 episodes.
